ABOUT THE STAKE P&L CALCULATOR

Stake shows you how much you've wagered, but not how much you're actually up or down. This tool answers that. Give it your deposit and withdrawal history and it subtracts one from the other, coin by coin, then turns the result into dollars so you get one honest number.

Nothing is uploaded. Your browser reads the files and does the maths on your own device, and closing the tab clears it. The only thing the page fetches is today's coin prices, and that request carries none of your data.

Alongside the headline figure you get totals for deposits and withdrawals, a return on what you put in, a table for each month and a breakdown by coin. It works with the coins most people use on Stake, from BTC and ETH to USDT, SOL, LTC and DOGE.

HOW STAKE P&L IS CALCULATED

It's money out minus money in. The tool works it out for each coin, converts each one to dollars at today's price and adds them up.

Profit or loss = everything withdrawn (in $) - everything deposited (in $)
Return = profit or loss ÷ everything deposited × 100

Say you deposited 0.1 BTC and 5 ETH, worth about $26,000 at today's prices, and later withdrew 0.05 BTC and 3 ETH, worth about $14,600. You're $11,400 down, a return of roughly -44%.

Money still in your Stake balance isn't counted as a withdrawal. If $2,000 is sitting there unplayed, it shows as a loss until you take it out, because until then it hasn't come back to you.

How to Export Your Stake Transaction History

You need two files, one for deposits and one for withdrawals. It takes about a minute.

  1. Log in to Stake and open your wallet from the account menu.
  2. Go to the transaction history.
  3. Change the date range to all time. The default only covers recent activity, and older transactions are left out without any warning.
  4. On the deposits tab, export the list as a CSV.
  5. Switch to withdrawals and export again.
  6. Drop both files into the boxes at the top of this page.

Have more than one Stake account? Export and check each one on its own. Mixing two accounts' files in one go blends their totals together.

How Crypto Prices Are Converted to USD

Every transaction is valued at the current price, fetched when you open the page. That answers the question most people are really asking: what is all of this worth now?

The catch is that it's not the price on the day. If you deposited BTC at $30,000 and it's now $90,000, that deposit counts at today's value. For a record that uses the price at the time of each transaction, which is what tax software needs, load the same CSV files into a crypto tax tool instead.

HOW TO READ YOUR P&L BREAKDOWN

  • Summary. Total in, total out, and the difference in dollars, with your return as a percentage.
  • By coin. How much went in and out in each currency. Useful if you deposit in one coin and cash out in another.
  • By month. Every month with activity, so you can see your best and worst stretches at a glance.
  • Recent transactions. Your latest 20 deposits and withdrawals, so you can check the files were read properly.

If you come out well ahead, double-check you didn't put the deposits file in the withdrawals box. Swapped files are the most common reason for a result that looks too good.

WHY TRACK YOUR STAKE P&L

Wins stick in the memory and losses don't. A few big hits can make a year feel close to even when the real number says otherwise, and small regular deposits are easy to lose track of.

  • Know what it costs you. A yearly figure makes it much easier to decide whether to keep playing as you are, cut back or stop.
  • Keep records. If gambling is taxed where you live, a clean list of deposits and withdrawals saves you rebuilding it later.
  • Spot patterns. The monthly table often shows a bad month followed by a worse one, which is what chasing losses looks like on paper.

If the number worries you, our responsible gambling page lists free support services and self-exclusion options.

COMMON STAKE P&L TRACKING MISTAKES

  • Treating wagered as lost. The total wagered on your statistics page counts every bet, including money you won back. It isn't your loss.
  • Adding up different coins as if they were the same. 0.5 BTC and 0.5 ETH are very different amounts. Convert first, then add.
  • Forgetting bonuses. Weekly, monthly and level-up bonuses land in your balance without showing as deposits, so withdrawing them makes you look further ahead than your own money is.
  • Using the wrong price for the job. Today's prices tell you where you stand now. Tax reporting usually needs the price on the day.

STAKE P&L AND TAXES

How gambling and crypto are taxed depends entirely on where you live. In the US, gambling winnings count as income and losses can only offset them if you itemize. In the UK, gambling winnings generally aren't taxed. Elsewhere the rules vary a lot.

What this tool gives you is a tidy list of every deposit and withdrawal with dates and amounts, which is the raw material an accountant will ask for. It isn't tax advice. Check with a qualified professional where you live before you report anything.

STAKE P&L CALCULATOR FAQ

How do I export my Stake transaction history?

In your Stake wallet, open the transaction history, switch to deposits and export it as a CSV, then do the same for withdrawals. Set the date range to all time first, or you'll only get recent activity. Upload both files above.

Is my Stake data private when using this calculator?

Yes. The files are read by your own browser and never sent to us or stored anywhere. The only request the page makes is for current coin prices, and that request contains no details from your files.

What does Stake P&L mean?

Profit and loss: everything you've withdrawn from Stake minus everything you've deposited. More out than in means you're up. More in than out means you're down, which is where most players end up.

How does the Stake P&L Calculator calculate ROI?

It divides your net result by the total you deposited. Deposit $10,000, withdraw $8,000 and you're $2,000 down, an ROI of -20%.

What cryptocurrencies does the Stake P&L Calculator support?

Twelve coins get a dollar value: the majors (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin), the stablecoins (USDT and USDC), plus DOGE, XRP, BNB, TRX, ADA and MATIC. Anything else still shows up in the per-coin totals, it just isn't included in the dollar figures.

Can I use my Stake P&L for a tax return?

You can use it as a first record of what went in and came out. It isn't tax advice, though, and the rules differ a lot from country to country. Take the numbers to a tax professional before you file anything.

Does Stake provide its own P&L tracker?

Not really. Stake shows your total wagered and lists deposits and withdrawals, but it doesn't net them against each other or turn several coins into one dollar figure. That's the gap this tool fills.

How accurate are the USD conversions in the calculator?

They use today's prices for every transaction. That tells you what your history is worth now, not what each deposit was worth on the day you made it. If coin prices have moved a lot since you played, the result can look quite different from what you remember.

What if my CSV export is missing transactions?

Almost always it's the date filter. Re-export with the range set to all time. If something is still missing, check whether it was made in a currency or account you didn't export.

Can I upload multiple years of Stake transaction history?

Yes. Export with the range set to all time and upload both files. Large histories load in a second or two, and the monthly table covers every month with activity.

How much have I lost on Stake?

Export your deposits and withdrawals, drop both files in above, and the calculator gives you the answer in dollars, along with a month-by-month view of where it went.

Does this work for Stake.us?

Yes. On Stake.us, export your purchases and redemptions and use them in place of deposits and withdrawals. Stake Cash is counted at $1 each. Gold Coins are counted at nothing, since they can't be redeemed.

Why doesn't my P&L match the profit Stake shows me?

Stake reports how much you wagered and what's left in your balance. It never nets deposits against withdrawals. Three things usually explain a gap: coin prices have changed since you deposited, there's still money sitting in your balance, or you withdrew bonus money that never appears as a deposit.
