Data & Methodology
The play numbers on Betaro come from bets we log ourselves at 21 crypto casinos. Here's where those bets come from, how they turn into the stats you see, and the things the data can't tell you. The figures in the strip below are live and refresh once a day.
Counts cover the last 7 days and are rounded down. They move with play, so they'll be a little different by the time you read this.
What Betaro Measures
We don't run a casino and we don't take bets. What we do is count. For every slot we track, we log the bets that land on it at the casinos below and boil them down to a few numbers you can compare: how much it's played, how often it pays, how big its hits get, and whether it's busier than usual.
RTP, volatility and max win describe how the game is built. We take them from the studio, or from two separate sources that agree, and leave a field blank when we can't confirm it. Bets, win rate, average win and best hits are counted by us from real bets. We keep the two apart on every slot page, and the hot slots board and slot rankings lean on the play numbers.
Where the Data Comes From
Most crypto casinos show a public list of recent bets on their site. Our collectors read those lists around the clock. Nothing comes from other stats sites and nothing is handed to us by a casino. These are the 21 sites we read today:
Each bet we keep has the game, the studio, the casino, the stake, the multiplier, the payout and the time. Over the last 7 days that came to roughly 3,000,000+ bets, or about 400,000+ a day. One catch: many casinos leave very small bets out of their public lists, so our sample leans toward bigger stakes and bigger wins.
How the Numbers Are Computed
Before anything is counted, each bet is matched to the right slot (casinos spell game names in a lot of different ways), and duplicates and broken rows are dropped. What's left rolls up into per-slot totals for the last 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days.
A 7-day figure covers the last 7 days and nothing older. As the window slides forward, old bets drop off and new ones come in.
Most slots come in several RTP versions and each casino picks one. When a slot has more than one, its page shows the full range, and lists sort by the highest confirmed version.
A slot makes the hot slots board when its recent bets or big hits run well above its own normal level. Each card says which.
How We Track Big Wins
We rank big wins by multiplier, not by dollars, so a 5,000x on a $1 bet counts the same as a 5,000x on $100. Dollars mostly tell you how rich the player was. The multiplier tells you how rare the hit was. Here's how many landed in the last 7 days:
Put another way, about 1 in 13 logged bets paid 10x or more, and about 1 in 844 paid 500x or more. You can watch them come in on the big wins feed.
Sample Size and Confidence
A slot with 200 logged bets and a slot with 2 million don't deserve the same trust. On a small sample, one lucky hit can make a game look like it pays far more than it does. That's why pages show the bet count next to the stats, and why new or niche games drop out of lists like the rankings until they've been played enough. The more bets a slot has, the closer its numbers sit to how it really behaves.
What We Do Not Claim
Some things the numbers can't do, however good they look:
Each spin comes from the game's random number generator and has no memory. A slot that just paid 10,000x is no more and no less likely to pay on the next one.
A hot streak or a high win rate is a record of what happened, not a way to beat the house. The odds stay the same, and over time they favor the casino.
We see what casinos choose to make public, from the sites we track. That's a big sample, but it's still a sample.
Independence
No casino owns or runs Betaro, and nobody can pay for different numbers, a better spot in the rankings or a kinder write-up. If a link ever earns us money, it will be labeled. The Terms page has the full rules, and About Betaro covers who we are.
Corrections
Spotted a number that doesn't add up? Let us know and we'll go back to the raw bets. If we made a mistake, it gets fixed. Write to contact@betaro.net or use the contact form.
Betaro is an information site. We don't run a casino or take bets. Slots are games of chance and you can lose what you put in, so only play with money you can spare. If it stops being fun, our responsible gambling page lists places that can help.
