Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: very little, and we never sell it.
1. Information We Collect
If you make an account: your email address and a display name. Sign-in is handled by our login provider, so we never see or store your password in plain text.
What you save: favorite slots and settings you choose to keep on your account.
Visit data: pages viewed, rough location by country, and browser and device type, measured with Google Analytics. We don't send Google your name or email, and we don't use this data for ads.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use it to:
• Run the site and your account
• Keep your favorites and settings
• Email you about your account when needed, such as a sign-in link
• See which pages people use so we know what to fix and improve
• Answer messages you send us
3. Data Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. A few service providers handle data for us so the site can run: our database and login provider, our hosting provider, our email provider for account emails, and Google Analytics for visit stats. They only process it to provide those services. We may share totals that can't identify anyone, like how many people used a calculator.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember things like your saved filters. Google Analytics also sets a few first-party cookies (named _ga) so we can count repeat visits. There are no advertising cookies. You can block analytics with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Data Security
Everything travels over HTTPS, and our database only lets each account read its own data. No setup is perfectly secure, but we take sensible steps and keep what we store to a minimum.
6. Your Rights
You can ask us to:
• Send you a copy of the data we hold about you
• Fix anything that's wrong
• Delete your account and everything tied to it
• Stop sending you anything but essential account emails

7. Children's Privacy
Betaro is for adults only. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and if we find out we have, we delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, the new version goes up here. For a big change, we'll also put a notice on the site. Using Betaro after a change means you accept the updated policy.
