The 10 most popular slot games of October
Gates of Olympus 2500 knocked Wanted Dead or a Wild off the top and beat it by almost 600,000 bets. Wanted Dead or a Wild still finished a clear 2nd, ahead of Gates of Olympus Super Scatter.

Two more newcomers made the top 10. Hacksaw's Le Vampire jumped from 64th to 4th in its first full month, and Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 finished 8th even though it only went live on October 11. Duck Hunters 2 went the other way, from 5th in September to 14th.
New slots of the month
October was a huge month for new games. Gates of Olympus 2500 took its first bets on September 27, so this was its first full month, and it went straight to number one with 1,744,851 bets.

Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 took 615,740 bets in three weeks, nicely timed for Halloween. Of the new games, Epic SixSixSix paid 1000x or more the most often: 136 times, about 1 in every 1,449 bets.

Gates of Olympus 2500 was the most played slot at five casino sites: Duelbits, Gamdom, Shuffle, Thrill and Winna. Gamdom alone gave it 1,008,899 bets, more than any other slot got at any single site in October.

Wanted Dead or a Wild was the favourite at Gamba, Roobet and Yeet, and Le Vampire topped Rainbet and Shuffle.us. At 500 Casino it was Dead Man's Broadside, a Backseat Gaming release that only took its first bets on October 12.
The biggest wins of October
The biggest slot win we logged in October was $18.1 million on Sky Drop at Stake, from a $12,013 bet that hit 1,511x. That's nearly three times the size of September's biggest win.

Odin's Vault is a Valkyrie game with a 500,000x max win, and it hit 100,000x or more 25 times in October, every time on a bet of 40 cents or less. Haunted Duels, Cash Claw 100000 and Iron Jaw all hit their 100,000x max win.

Waylanders Forge paid 1000x or more 807 times in October, about 1 in every 249 bets. That's three times as often as Wanted Dead or a Wild, which led this list in September.

How we count
We log bets from the public bet feeds of the casino sites we track, then group them by game and by day. Some sites publish every bet and others only the bigger ones, so we don't rank the casinos against each other by volume.
Payouts are shown in US dollars as the sites report them. A slot's monthly total only includes the days it was live, so new releases start part way through the month.
From this edition we also count slots that don't have their own Betaro page yet, and we merge games that casinos list under more than one name. That moves a few of last month's ranks, so the September ranks shown here were worked out the same way and can differ slightly from the September edition.
